Charles T. Edin has more than a quarter century of legal experience in oil, gas, real estate, and mineral title issues. He founded the Charles T. Edin Law Office in 1996, and has prepared oil and gas title memos, division order title opinions, and drilling title opinions. His work also includes litigation and representing clients before the Industrial Commission of North Dakota with regard to administrative law and regulatory matters concerning oil and gas pooling, spacing, and unitization.

Charles T. Edin has received many honors for his legal achievements. He was named one of the 2007 Top Trial Lawyers in North Dakota by The American Trial Lawyers Association in 2007. In addition, Charles T. Edin was elected to the Board of Governors for the North Dakota Association for Justice. The North Dakota Office of the Attorney General appointed Charles T. Edin to serve as co-lead counsel on class action lawsuits.

Charles T. Edin is co-author of โ€œThe Growing Uncertainty of Real Estate Titles,โ€ which was published in the North Dakota Law Review of the University of North Dakota Law School in 1989. Charles T. Edin also co-authored โ€œNorth Dakota Mineral Title Standards,โ€ published by the State Bar Association of North Dakota in 1990.

Before founding his own firm, Charles T. Edin worked for five years as an Associate and another seven years as a Partner with the Bismarck law firm of Zuger & Bucklin (now Zuger Kirmis & Smith). Charles T. Edin is licensed to practice law in the State of North Dakota. He has tried cases before the U.S. District Court of North Dakota and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
